Marty- SOLD

Picture
Age: 4
Sex: Gelding
Height: 14.2
Colour: bay
Breed: New Forest x Connemara
Show name: Kativa Marty

I was given Marty as a 3yo to back and sell. He was a very willing pony and easy to do. Within 3 months of being broken he was flying over jumps of 2'6 with fillers and anything you put in front of him. He even popped round our mini cross country course over ditches, banks, steps & tyres. He had lovely paces and had just started to accept the bit before he was sold. He had even learnt to do flying changes. After a break through the winter Marty was sold & appears to be going really well with the new owners.

now affiliated BSJA- we saw him competing at the blue chip championships 2014.

Valco

Picture
Owned by: Amanda Woolcombe
Age: 9 Born:
Sex: Gelding
Height: 16hh
Breed:  Negro
Type: KWPN Warmblood
Colour: Bay

I started schooling valco in 2011 he was very wild to begin with, had trouble mounting and had the biggest bucks on the lunge & bucked quite a few people off, he knew his own strength and wasn't afraid of anyone! I worked with Valco for about a year, I took him to his first ever show which was dressage and he won! After this his owner realised he was very talented and wasted with her & she really had to part with him for his own sake, which was very difficult as she had owned him since 4yo and was very attached to him! So he came to mine to be sold, were I taught him to jump and really found his capabilities. He was soon sold to a great local home, were I still ride him & compete him.

Jazz- SOLD

Picture
Age: 5
Sex: Mare
Height: 16hh
Colour: Skewbald
Breed:
Show name:
Owner: Michele Taylor

When I first started schooling Jazz only a couple of months ago she was very green and hadn’t done much at all. She had been to a jumping show and done bottom hole but never really jumped a proper jump. She didn’t understand how to work in an outline, inside bend or working into the corners. Jazz has come on so much since then and now accepts a contact, starting to work in a consistent outline and will work into the corners and bend the correct way on a circle. Jazz’s jumping has improved more than anything and she now jumps oxers, scary fillers, doubles all at 1m without batting an eye lid. Sadly Jazz is now for sale through no fault of her own.

Comanche/ Cam- SOLD

Picture
Age: 6
Sex: Gelding
Height: 12hh
Breed: Unknown
Colour: Skewbald
I was given Cam to back and sell as a 4yo. He was a very nervous pony and still can be, so we had to take everything very slowly. However he is a fantastic Jumping pony with absolutely no limit. He will hack alone or in company, goes Cross Country and Jumps absolutely anything. I have also taught a few people to ride on him. A very sweet young pony, willing to learn. Now going to a lovely new home, with one of my pupils.

Sold in 2010- still in the same home in 2013- He has taught the little boy a lot & they love him so much they can't part with him!

Cody- RIP 2012

Picture
Age: 13
Sex: Gelding
Height: 15hh
Breed: Cob
Colour: Piebald

Cody was on loan to me & is Parelli trained. We got him in April 2011 & he had not been ridden on a regular basis for about 6 years. So he was very unfit & needed a bit of work. He has come on very well & has been on trips to the beach, took part in a home show where he had a number of Wins, hacks out alone or in company & has even learnt a bit of jumping- which he loves & is brilliant at.
We no longer needed to loan Cody in September 2011, so I helped sell him to one of my pupils were he was very loved and had a great home until sadly he passed a way a few months later, due to longer term kidney failure, very sad as he was such a lovely pony and not even old!

Bella- RIP 2014

Picture
Age: 4 Born: 2008
Date Sold:
Show Name:
Colour: Grey
Breeding: Welsh x Cob
Sex: mare
Height: 13hh

I bought Bella in 2012 to bring on and sell. When I first got her she had never jumped or been schooled, just hacked. She was very lazy and had no respect for you'r legs or a whip, even a lunge whip, she didnt know how to lunge and froze in the school! I worked very hard to get her going and understand the basics, eventually she was jumping and could do a nice dressage test and was off you'r leg. I sold her to the same home as Valco, locally, were I still ride & compete her. She went to her first few shows in her new home & has since won in 2013 and now jumps up to 2'9, and works in a great outline.

Clayton

Picture
Owner: Sarah Friend
Age: 9 Born:
Date Sold: 2013
Show Name:
Colour: Dun
Breeding:  American Quarter Horse
Sex:  Gelding
Height:  15hh

Clayton first came to me needing re-breaking after having about a year or more off work & only ever been western trained, he also needed to be trained to English. He had lived with his two friends since he was 2yo in the same home, so when he was separated and moved to be sold he was very upset & a bit wild. He took a while to settle & realise he had to grow up & learn what life is all about. Once he had settled and we started work, the process of leaning over and completly re-breaking as he reacted as if he had never had tack on, bronking when on the lunge with saddle on for first time! This only lasted about a week & he then remembered everything and was like a different horse, completely chilled, great steering as you would expect of a horse his age and everything was normal for him again. I  gave him his first ever jump & he really could jump! He is very brave & bold, jumps any fillers & any height. Hacks alone & in company, never gets strong or silly and never napped. He has great movement, very flashy & would do well in any discipline!

Clayton soon sold to a lovely home in Norfolk, were he now takes part in endurance rides & parelli.

Here is clayton in his new home, his new owner is really enjoying him & they look like there having a great time together!
