He was such a good boy all day- stood around posing for pictures and rode beautifully with his temporary new jockey for the movie.

We currently have the space for 1 or 2 more competition liveries- based in Sandwich- kent. We have pony spaces 128-138, or horses. I have a very good little jockey for the ponies, read below. And horses are all trained and competed by me, more info below too. Tazmin is only 9 years old, she has been riding with me since she was 2 years old, started jumping properly when she got her first pony aged 6, and has been training seriously with me for the past 2 years. She is very dedicated and knows where she wants to go with this career, and I am trying to help her achieve this. She currently has two ponies of her own which compete BSJA and 2 young ponies which we are producing for their owners. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with either an experienced pony you just have no use for anymore, or equally a younger pony with potential that we can bring out. This little girl is so talented and will definitely bring out the best in any pony. The pony she is riding here I broke and trained as a 5yo then handed over to Tazmin who has taken this pony to its first affiliated show- to now qualifying for and jumping novice and discovery 2nd rounds- blue chip championships- Hickstead and more. All in a very short time, since they joined in November 2014! I compete up to 1.35 currently on horses I have produced from Novice over the past 3 years- as soon as they are ready we will be moving up to 1.40 level and above, or if you have a horse currently at that level and just need a rider, my aims are high and i'm happy to take on anything. I am also available for lessons, I am qualified UKCC level 2. Either at my yard, yours or at competitions. Thank you for taking time to read! Currently seeking more rides/owners as a competition rider- bs record to 1.30 level all on home produced horses. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Www.Jodirandall.Co.Uk Already, we are over half way through the year!! Its been a mix of a year, lets start with a positive.
April- Brook competed at the Blue Chip Championships in the 90cm diamond final- which was my first time at these championships- we got into the jump off- and went fast enough just need more practice at this speed in keeping them up, we only had one down which is a very good achievement. May- I competed for my 3rd year at the Royal Windsor Horse Show- although I won both previous yeas, this was the highest level I have competed before at this show and I took Trigger this year, who has never been in such an atmospheric arena, so was a big step up for him & I. We jumped the Foxhunter- finishing on only 8f. He took it all in his stride and jumped a lovely round! June- Hickstead- We had a very good Hickstead- Trigger jumped double clear in the newcomers and had a placing 18th out of around 200 competitors. Brook also jumped double clear a couple of days and had placings. July- Hickstead- we went for the day for the main ring qualifiers- unfortunately both horses had poles, although brook was very on form with very fast times definitely enough to qualify if not a win, with the last fence down! August- I gained a new ride- Mia- Grey mare 13yo, winnings in newcomers £300 notional winnings- jumped a couple of fox & 1.30 with previous owner, but been out of competitions for about 2 years, due to lack of time. She's here to get fit and then compete so we look forwards to what she has in store! Felbridge- First outing with Mia- Newcomers- first round clear- 8f jump off- only had her a couple of weeks so still getting to know her way of going, she got a bit tired and flat as still not that fit- but very positive for next run of shows with the clear first round. September- Hickstead- We went again for the day for the main ring qualifiers- again both very unlucky! We also took Mia- who had only been out once a few weeks ago with me- she jumped the best of them all, clear in first round Newcomers- and I really went for it in the jump off as it was a qualifier- sure we had the fastest time, we did every turn and really opened up- just couldn't get her back enough for the last fence to finish on 4f, but what a positive for such a new horse, she hasn't been to hickstead before or jumped at a show of such atmosphere, didn't take any notice just got on with her job! Arena UK My 3rd show with Mia- Day 1- Newcomers double clear 27th out of 200 odd- qualified for grand prix final Day 2- Foxhunter- 8f- she was a bit tired and switched off- not stayed away at a show in 6 years, but still jumped a nice round, considering we only jumped 3 newcomers previously in the last 2 years! Day 3- 1.30 young riders- Big step up from 1.10- but she was awesome- finished on 4f- jumped every fence with a foot to spare- just couldn't get her back down a related distance but a big learning curve and getting together with her a lot now. Last day- Newcomers final- didn't have quite enough control and lost her concentration down combination- so not our championship- but really got to know her now, so can go home and practice ready for our next outing! Brook Trig Tazmin- This year, Tazmin has been the star. She jumped her first ever grand prix on fern- jumped treble clear and finished 5th, against adults and affiliated combinations. it started at 75cm and went up to about 90cm- the biggest she has ever jumped in competition, course was very fast and technical, including triple bar, water tray, wall. She also jumped again at hickstead and finished about 9th out of 50! recently been cash jumping also against affiliated combinations- jumped her first ever 90cm and came 2nd with double clear! So, we ended 2013 with Trigger & I jumping our first ever 1.30 & Young Riders, with just 2 poles down through the combination, which is a great achievement.
Brook Qualified for the blue chip diamond championships which will be help April 2014. Trigger then had an injury and was off for the the last 2 months of 2013 and came back into work straight after christmas. I then had a silly accident and broke my collar bone on 5/1/14 so am predicted 3 months off, including no driving! It was an awful break in 2 places, displaced and slightly rotated. However, I had some treatment up in Ipswich which was amazing, so now I am able to drive & ride lightly, my recovery time is predicted to be jumping again around early Feb when my next X-ray and specialist appointment is, so lets hope its good news! Tazmin hasn't been to a show since September as I have been so busy, but she will be back competing now I have more time in Febuary onwards. Till mid Feb I have a sale on, contact me for more details but prices start from £10 for loan ponies & lessons! |
