Beach Ride no.3- 24/5/11

13/6/2011

We took Brook & Cody to the beach with Daisy & Zuzka & met two of our friends their on there horses.
Cody had never been to the beach before and nor had Ziggy our friends horse. Brook had been once before but she was being more of an idiot and scared of the sea than Cody. After a lot of rearing and leaping from brook 30 minutes later she was the first to go in, followed by Cody and then our friends other horse Valley, who had also been to the beach previously. Ziggy was the only one left to go in, he had his feet in the water but wouldn’t stay in and walk along with the others in the sea. When we finally got him right in after a few strides he shot out again, leaving his rider behind. Luckily she was OK, just a bit wet and a few bruises to follow the next day! It was a really fun ride, and we got Ziggy back in in the end and managed to keep him and rider in this time. Everybody enjoyed it and I’m sure we will be going again soon for round 4!

Pictures and videos to follow.
