Olly was very sprightly and just as I turned and got straight to enter down the centre line; he exploded, and thought it needed to be done at a leaping, bucking canter! Luckily I managed to turn him away before entering through the boards! After the explosion, he then proceeded to do a lovely test & was 4th, qualifying for the Novice Dengie Area Championships!
Brook had a few bucks here and there in the warm up! But then was a very good girl when she went in, although a bit spooky, and lacking concentration, managed to come 8th in the Intermediate!
Olly had switched off by the time it came to him in the Intermediate, so added a few extras to the test to make it a bit more interesting! Spooks, halts, bucks & a canter here and there, when he felt like it! But he came 10th!
Overall a good day out, but a bit to work on with Olly before the next round of the Dengie!
