The next outing after Pyecombe was Duckhurst, were we learnt to never go out on the 13th again! Brook jumped the Katherine James Scope Qualifier & just had an unlucky pole, but again the fastest time in the jump off. & The same in the 1.05 Scope Qualifier where she would have finished 2nd and qualified if it wasn’t for the pole in the jump off.
Luna- Owned by Shelley, jumped a nice round in the KJSQ but caught me out half way round the course & stuck in a cheeky stop. She then jumped the 1.05 SQ a bit quick and just had an unlucky pole.
Olly had a very mixed and unusual day, with two stops in the KJSQ, which is very unlike him. & then tried it on & stopped in the 1m amateur class, but went really well round the rest of the course. So before the regionals next weekend we have a lot of work to do with all of them.
