Since my last post was over a month ago, you can probably all guess I have been extremely busy. Revising for exams & taking on new customers. I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas & New Year & that 2011 is going well so far. For the horses, my pupils & I it has been a very successful year so far! Since the last competition post on 12/10/10 we had a number of competitions planned up until the New Year, which all sadly got cancelled due to the snow. However 2011 has proved to be a lot more promising, with Brook’s first outing back from injury (after 3 months off work) she had two 2nd places qualifying for the Dengie Showjumping on 9/1/11. At the same show Olly was a close 3rd to Brook, but then had an unfortunate fall in the Dengie qualifier, due to loose surface on the arena.

2011 has brought me 10 new customers so far, two of which have already done their first competition after only 3 weeks of riding with me. This was the second outing of 2011, SJ again on 23/1/11 @ Willow Farm. Kayleigh Fuller a new pupil of 2011, managed a lovely clear round on Woody at her first ever show. Sofia, also a new pupil of 2011 completed 2 clear rounds also at her first ever show, on Woody.
Then Daisy went into the second class of the day, beating everybody, winning a lovely sash.
I also rode Lilly, Collette’s 4yo, who was extremely well behaved at her first ever jumping show, doing 3 clear rounds and a 3rd place.
Well done everybody!
