Luckily we travelled up to the livery yard we were staying at near Windsor the day before competing because we had to get up at 5am as it was- without a 3 hour journey added from home.
We has a 5am start both days as I was jumping at 7.30am Saturday in the working hunter & 11.30 for the Top score and 8am the next for the 2nd top score.
The weather was good both days, some sun in the morning which was nice as it wasn’t so hot you couldn’t do anything and the wind & rain stayed away which was a bonus.
Lilly Colette's 5year old was doing only her 2nd ever working hunter class which was rather a scary & tough course. Sadly she only managed to get to fence 3, but it was a lot for her to look at and take in. I'm sure she will be back next year with a bit more under her belt, and fighting for a top place.
